Our group was formed in 1995 to bring together Miata owners in northwestern Ohio and bordering southeastern Michigan. We’re one of over 100 Miata Clubs in the US, representing more than 10,000 enthusiasts. Our members participate in area tours, rallies, autocross and social events. During the winter months we meet for dinner and good fellowship and hold a gala Holiday Party and gift exchange each December. Our newsletter, the M Edition, keeps us informed of local and regional events and all manner of happenings in the Miata community.
Out style is low key. We don’t have boring business meetings. We drive on the nicest roads we can find, eat at some very interesting – not to say offbeat – restaurants and we share technical information and news about useful aftermarket products.
Our typical events (Miata Meanders) are Saturday afternoon road tours of 4-5 hours, ending at a restaurant for dinner. Sometimes our excursions are weekenders. Along the way, we have visited parks, historical sites, islands, car museums, a train museum, a doll factory, antique shops, race tracks, and hummingbird houses. We have piloted aircraft simulators, ridden on a canal boat and have even cruised Lake Erie on a schooner.
